The Kingsport Homeless Ministry has held several Informational Community Meetings concerning the problem of homelessness and how best to tackle it . We’ve heard from many organizations and individuals sharing what they do to help. There have been addresses by representatives of Family Promise of Greater Kingsport, The Salvation Army of Greater Kingsport, Hunger First, Shades of Grace, The Oasis of Kingsport, and Tri-Cities Military Affairs Council. A Kingsport Police Homeless Outreach Worker also gave a short speech. Many thanks to everyone who shared their ministry with us, as well as everyone who attended.
